Crowd funding is an ever increasingly popular way of raising finance for art projects . Kickstarter seems to be the chosen one for many and an impressive figure of $2,859,786,650 has been raised on projects so far.

The requirements to apply are –

Every project on Kickstarter must be creating something new to share with others. A project has a clear goal, like making an album, a book, or a work of art. A project will eventually be completed, and something will be produced by it.
